Founded in 2015, The Escrow Company, formerly known as Escrow London, is a multinational software escrow provider dedicated to ensuring business continuity and risk mitigation for SaaS environments. Headquartered in London, United Kingdom, we deliver global service and support through our offices in London, UK; Atlanta, USA; and Sydney, Australia.

Specializing in software escrow solutions tailored for cloud-based platforms, we provide unmatched support across leading infrastructures, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud.

Following rapid growth across the UK and Europe, we expanded into North America in 2020, launching Escrow London North America Inc in Atlanta, GA. In 2024, our presence extended to Australia with the formation of Escrow London Australia Pty Ltd. Evan Lever

Founder and CEO

Evan co-founded The Escrow Company (formerly Escrow London) after recognising a shift toward SaaS and the need for modern software escrow solutions. Drawing on his expertise in off-site data protection, he positioned the company as a challenger brand focused on SaaS escrow.

Prior to this, Evan was co-founder and CEO of DataBank, which he grew into a leading data storage provider with over 1,000 enterprise clients. After its acquisition in 2014, he relocated to London and launched Escrow London in 2015.

Nathan Hopkins

Chief Revenue Officer

Nathan joined The Escrow Company five years ago, bringing a strong background in digital transformation and business development. He has worked extensively with both public sector and commercial organisations, helping them drive operational efficiency through the adoption and deployment of cloud technologies. His expertise and approach have aligned seamlessly with our clients’ goals and The Escrow Company’s vision for growth and innovation.

Gleb Etinzon

Director of Cloud Technology

Gleb leads the Cloud Technology and Data Security division at The Escrow Company. As a certified Solution Architect with credentials from AWS and Oracle Cloud, and deep expertise across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle environments, he partners with clients to design resilient, cloud-based escrow continuity solutions for SaaS applications. Gleb also brings extensive experience in cybersecurity, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, data privacy, and ISO27001 compliance.

Management Process

We have years of experience in handling the entire management process of a software escrow agreement from initiation, testing and trigger events in the UK, USA, Australia and further afield. This management process covers 4 key areas:

Data storage – When it comes to data storage, we believe we lead the way in the software escrow market by providing secure cloud storage vaults adhering to our ISO27001 accreditations.
Accreditations – Escrow London trading as The Escrow Company has been independently certified with ISO27001 and ISO27017 covering all aspects of information security including cloud security.
Management – Once a software escrow agreement is in place, it is vital to ensure that the source code is updated on an agreed frequency. The Escrow Company provides automated deposits directly from Git to ensure the source code deposits are always up to date.
Release Process –In the rare event of a release or trigger, The Escrow Company draws on years of experience to manage the process with professionalism, neutrality, and care.
